How to play: Picross is a logic puzzle game where your goal is to fill in the appropriate tiles in order to ultimately create a picture. The numbers above each column and to the left of each row serve as your hints, read from top to bottom and left to right. The number sequence “1 2 3”, for example, tells you that that row or column contains one filled square, followed by two, followed by three. The tricky part is that you don’t know the gap between these groups (just that they’re at least one tile)! You have to look at the hints for each row and column to puzzle out which squares are filled and which aren’t. The pencil tool lets you fill in squares, while the X will let you mark spaces you’re certain can’t be filled to help you visually reason through the puzzle and avoid accidentally filling a square you don’t mean to.
